Since 1911, the Snell family has been serving its patients
and clients with state of the art orthotic and prosthetic
technology, and leading the O&P industry with boldly innovative
new product testing and development that paves the way to
ever-better care.
The practice, originally named Snell's Limbs and Braces,
has operated as CFI Prosthetics Orthotics since 1982.
Our company leaders continue to embrace a philosophy of continuously
seeking newer, more effective, convenient, and comfortable
solutions - and actively helping those solutions to evolve.
To ensure that care is in the hands of the Snell family, we
ask that you make certain that CFI Prosthetics Orthotics is
where you are seen or directing your patients to be seen.
Our certified, qualified staff never stops pursuing new knowledge
to keep them at the top of their profession. Their experience
and expertise covers the fields of prosthetics, orthotics,
and pedorthics, and they work closely with physicians, surgeons,
physical and occupational therapists, and other members of
the rehabilitation team to restore patients with disabilities
to a more functional, mobile, independent and fulfilling lifestyle.
Maximizing the abilities of our patients is our highest goal;
to that end, we provide a full range of services, including:
- Upper and lower extremity prosthetics (artificial limbs)
- Spinal, upper and lower extremity orthotics (braces)
- Therapeutic and comfort footwear
More than 75 amputations are being performed daily on Haitians who suffered major traumatic injuries as a result of the January 12 earthquake and its aftermath. As many as 110,000 new amputees may be included among survivors of the quake, some sources predict.
The Limbs for Haiti drive is a program of CFI Prosthetics Orthotics, in cooperation with the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association and their Physicians for Peace partners who ensure that all prosthetic donations are delivered to devastated regions of Haiti for the direct benefit of their disabled citizens.
CFI will accept and refurbish donated limbs and components, regardless of whether the device was fabricated by their facility.
To donate prosthetic limbs no longer in use to the Limbs for Haiti drive, bring them to a CFI location in Memphis or Desoto County; click here to locate CFI locations.
